Small Group Mentorship Experiences
Brian Kurth + Company, in conjunction with VocationVacations, offers small-group mentorship experiences. How do these parlay back to a firm or organization? You may be surprised. Eighty percent of all work-related issues, problems and concerns are common across all industries.
Human resources managers can provide staff an innovative and meaningful experience on how to maximize their strengths in a particular area of work. Having exposure to an expert mentor in a completely different field is the most innovative way to generate new ideas, ways of doing things and create more passion on the job.
For instance, let’s say your company or organization needs to strengthen its means of producing and marketing a product. Brian Kurth + Company will be able to provide a half or full-day mentorship experience, including career coaching services for up to ten people with an expert mentor (let’s say, a Chocolatier!). The mentor will provide guidance, practical experience and advice on how processes are conducted daily between the chocolate house, shipping, sales and marketing and retail operations.
In taking a step out of the box and having a small group mentorship experience in a different industry, your team will realize:
1) There is something to learn “outside” of the day-to-day work environment from a mentor in a completely different occupation who can offer a new approach to the same problem; and
2) They are able to take key learnings, steps, tools and advice from their mentorship experience back to the office and start working through the needed changes.
Workshops
Brian and his team conduct a wide variety of workshops all centered around the common belief that mentorship is the key to a successful career transition. The workshops can be structured in as little as 2-hour segments or as long as a full-day. Some of the most popular workshops include:
