·         Created and launched VocationVacations® in 2004, a one-of-a-kind career mentoring program offering professional and personal exploration.

·         Authored the innovative “how-to” book Test-Drive Your Dream Job – A Step-by-Step Guide To Finding and Creating The Work You Love (Hachette 2008).

·         Founded Brian Kurth + Company in 2008 – an innovative career development and consulting company focused on a three-prong strategy, Mentorship, Transition, Reinvention  (MTR)

·         Is recognized as the guru of MTR by the media and the source of reliable information and innovative ideas.  He has made guest appearances on CNN, CNBC, FOX News, MSNBC, NBC’s TODAY Show, Bloomberg News and National Public Radio (NPR), and his career advice has been featured in articles in O, The Oprah Magazine; The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine; Fast Company Magazine; Fortune Magazine; Men’s Journal, just to name a few.  In 2006, he co-executive produced This Job’s A Trip for the Travel Channel.
